ENPRO2 - 1st Mastermind Meeting

Salaam and Good Blessings....

It was a great session we had this morning, a session of sharing of achievements by our magnificent-7s attendees.

Thank you, Elvis,
Thank you, Lulu
Thank you, Yong
Thank you, Eugina
Thank you, Lian Nee
Thank you, Selena......

Your presence today has made the event a success...

Thank you also to Rara! ..(aiysehh....shy laaahh, say thank you to myself)

Thanks also to Kak Nor and Ahmad Sabudin who helped in booking the room for us to "Catch-Up". Both of them showed their commitment and support to our group thru helping with the logistics although they could not make it themselves due to prior commitments.

It was free flowing of discussion and suggestions

ENPRO@ graduates don't advocate time wasting affairs. We all understand the importance of TIME management and this meeting was put together to maximize the gathering of ENRPORIANS to share their success stories and also to listen to challenges faced by us. And true to our brotherly and sisterly love and spirit (which was evident today), we made suggestion to each other as to how to overcome these challenges.

Some of the issues discussed are as per shown in the slides below

We also discussed about how to be selective with our words when we speak to target clients...as illustrated below:

At the end of the session, we all agreed to meet up again in 3 months time and the date chosen was 19th April 2011, Tuesday 10:30 am.

This time, the organizing "President" is not RARA anymore, we did a ballot and lucky ELVIS CHIN gets the opportunity to arrange for the content of the 2nd MASTERMIND MEETING.

If you want to pick up where you left off in NOVEMBER 2009, when we all graduated, come to the next MASTERMIND meeting, so please block this date in your calender!

Till next time...

What Makes you happy...?

Salaam and Good Blessings to all...

I am as subscriber of SUCCESS e-magazine and I regularly receive useful, inspiring and empowering information that all of us can relate to. It works for me to  keep my own level of inspiration and empowerment. Today, in my INBOX, I received this one below and I would like to share the except with you:

"What makes you happy....really?

That’s a serious question… maybe one of the most important questions of your life. But did you know most people can’t answer it correctly?

In his book Stumbling on Happiness, Harvard professor Dan Gilbert explains that most of us think we know what makes us happy, but typically we are wrong.

I have found there are three major traps in which you might be unknowingly making yourself unhappy.

The first unhappiness trap is postponing happiness. The “when-I -(fill in the blank), I-will-be-happy” syndrome. The reality is happiness, isn’t something to be acquired in the future. You are either happy now or not; “then” never arrives. Living and striving for “then” results in a constant state of unhappiness. Now is the only time you have to be happy.
The second unhappiness trap is we spend our lives trying to make other people happy which can make us very unhappy. Many times we are living a life we didn’t even choose ourselves. We might have simply, and unconsciously, started pursuing the idea of happiness programmed by our parents, peers, societal culture, or the examples given to us by Hollywood or commercialism. Whose idea of success are you living out?

Third unhappiness trap is contrast. For the most part happiness is really an illusion. In other words, you make up the idea of whether you are happy or not. And you really only know how to judge something by comparing it to something else. Typically this means comparing yourself to other people. This is dangerous business because there will always be reference points that will cause you to be unhappy.

The bottom line is this, happiness creates, this is not derived from the outside, it is only derived from within. Happiness is a state of mind. And you can continually choose to be happy.

Here is the best way I know to live in happiness—live in gratitude. When you focus on all you have and all that you are, right now, that is where happiness is born. Once it is born now you can nurture it further by discovering those other experiences that bring you increased joy, happiness and exhilaration.

Besides just the feel-good factor of happiness, there is one very measurable and meaningful outcome I think you might be interested in. Comprehensive research studies have proven that happy and optimistic sales people outsell their pessimistic counter parts by 56 percent!

Imagine being able to grow your organization’s sales revenue by 56 percent with no additional investment in marketing, infrastructure, head count or even increased effort, but by simply by helping those around you be happy and get and keep a positive attitude. As a leader interested in tangible improved results, this could be the best use of your time and resources… and a very important issue to study..."

Now guys, let’s get happy!
Give everyone ideas on getting happy - what 3 things make you most happy? How often do you spend your time doing those things?

Salaam....

Your President is Sad!...

There is a slight tinge of sadness in me today. There is this sense of emptiness in my heart...No i didnt cry like the man above ....
It took me a while to figure it out but I think I know why...I already miss EnPro2!!!...and all those involved with it especially my classmates and trainers.

Next Tuesday is not going to be the same. For the last 13 weeks I have been conditioned to wake up every Tuesday...full  of excitement and expectation of new things to learn and new skills to acquire for my business. But it is not going to be there any more.... : (

Yesterday, was graduation day and I think I can speak for many (if not all of us) that we had a fantabulous time...high energy mixed with joy and sorrow and heart tugging moments of achievements for our fellow mates.

There is nothing that parallels these emotion and energy and my sadness is linked to the realization that there is no more Tuesday morning war cry!...no more Jamal, no more Julita or Saiful or Khairul ( and no more pakcik's good food)...

no more...huuuuuuu huuuu!!!!

But...
move on we must!!!
Do you agree?....

All good things do come to end, but its really up to us to extract as much as we can from that good thing to  make it into something BETTER....or else we just fall back to our comfort zone!

From what we have acquired in EnPro2 we CANNOT  and we MUST NOT fall back!

We MUST move on, to something BETTER and BIGGER!

Guys,
As you have voiced yesterday, you want this blog to continue...then, continue it shall...I would like to make ENPRO2 as our own support group...where we commit to be better person besides being a better agent for our business...and we help each other to be better too.

Remember G.R.I.P.S.
keep firm grip to your dream and vision, hold tight to move up and hold tighter to not fall back...

G = Growth
R = Resourceful
I = Innovative
P = Positive Energy and mind set
S = SUCCESS will be yours!

You must contribute to keep this blog alive and do not let it die a natural death, come visit and make suggestions on improving your self and the skills and support this effort of making this a better place.

I must stress that this is a NON POLITICAL organization and it shall not be platform for ideology exchanges, it shall only ENhanced PROductivity related issues...

So, do make comments and criticism if any, and join this effort to make ourself better, stronger, bolder.

If you all are with me on this...then you have made the PRESIDENT very happy!!!

Long Live EnPro2

Love you all and God BLESS!

GRADUATION DAY is here......

EnPro2 Class of August' 09

Dear EnProrians II,
As you know, this coming Tuesday the 10th of November will be a special day for us all...it's our GRADUATION DAY!

To mark this special occasional your trainers and team leaders plus some members of your classmates are organizing several unique activities. We invite ALL of you to participate and make it a momentous event.

As your class President, I would like to thank the trainers for their dedication and commitment in performing their duties and preparing for this GRADUATION DAY.

I must especially thank AHMAD SABUDIN (I declare his role as Chairman of the Graduation Day Organizing Committee) for his great effort and initiative in coordinating this GRADUATION DAY. He has "stepped-up-to-the- plate" to lead the Committee. This exemplifies the virtues and character of EnPro2  graduates.

Special mention also must go to his entourage of committee members, like KAK NOR, KAREN, KC CHENG and MITHRAN (as decorations coordinator plus his team members).

Guys and Gals,
I was briefed by Mr. Chairman Ahmad this afternoon and he has enlightened me of the committee's plans and it is clear that these people are working hard to ensure that the event will not only be successful, but also memorable!!!

I call upon ALL OF YOU to actively participate and lend your support.

Here are some important announcements I have been asked by Mr. Chairman Ahmad to convey to all:

ATTENDANCE
For this GRADUATIONS ALL OF US MUST BE IN BEFORE 830am!!!
I trust all of us will be able to respect this request to ensure an orderly proceeding of the event.

TOP UP CONTRIBUTION
Each of us are URGED to contribute RM10 per person into the budget.

FYI, funds collected by our Minister of Finance from fines and penalties will be used to part finance our event.

Since discipline was not a major problem for us all (THANK YOU)...the coffer for penalties and fines was not that much! Therefore individual top up of the amount mentioned above is herein imposed!

We do welcome anyone who would like to contribute more than the imposed sum, please make your payment to KAK NOR. FYI, there are some of us in the committee who have committed their own expenses beyond the RM10 to help ease the pain and we would like to thank these individuals. So for the rest, your generosity is most  welcome!

ATTIRE
You are required to wear anything (or nothing!...as long as it is) in BLACK and WHITE combination.

For those who elect to wear nothing, the event organizer cannot be held responsible for any untoward incidents that may befall you!  (wink! wink!)

There will be an announcement to declare the BEST DRESSED MALE and BEST DRESSED FEMALE...so come your best!

(Sorry no prize for BEST UNDRESS INDIVIDUAL!)...you just win the rights to be gawked at!!!

INDIVIDUAL GIFT
Each of us are required to buy ONE gift (anything) worth not less than RM10 and bring it along for the Graduation. You will exchange these gifts with the rest so you will not go home empty handed.

Again, your heartiest and sincere cooperation is much much and MUCH appreciated!

LET'S HAVE A GREAT GRADUATION DAY!
